Sometime I get to sit back and reflect my past ... the trading journey .... the experience .... the lessons ... the pains .... the joys .... the sorrows and most of all to rediscover things.
Nothing has changed over the last 30+ years since my first move into financial markets!
Trend continue to go UP, DOWN and SIDE-WAY alternating among the 3, the only difference is the magnitude and duration of trend. Ignore all the news and trend continues.
The cost of doing investing business has reduced TREMENDOUSLY. Accessibility is no longer an issue and almost for free for most market that one can participate ONLINE!!!! Gone are the days where you will need to depend on REUTERS machine for news update!!!!
Where once FX, Commodities are Stocks are considered sacred cows for the brokers and one has to depend on the dealers to provide you with the latest price, almost everything is within your palm handheld smartfon!!!!
With all the technologies and developments, human continue to make the same mistakes. Repeat the mistakes and continue to repeat the errors!!! Why? I really don't know!!!!
Human inevitably fall into the mind traps of self believing that MORE complex knowledge about the market is the key to more profits!!! The brutal truth is this perception is the opposite. A little of RELEVANT knowledge if applied CORRECTLY will yield consistent profitable investments results.
Maybe the word HOPE plays the devil role in making blunders!!! Maybe it is barking at the wrong tree! Maybe it is the failure to grasp the importance of the meaning CYCLE.
