When the price is no longer economically attractive to plant OIL PALM trees for CPO, all this slash and burn in INDONESIA will end.
Alternatively is to open new acreage in new areas outside of ASEAN and provide more supply which happening in AFRICA and INDIA. The more supply the lower the price will be theoretically.
Otherwise at RM1800+ per ton CPO, we are going to enjoy haze for a long long long time.
