32 years in the financial markets and counting - Prepare for the Worst and Hope for the Best

Both financial market and the real economic activities globally will be negatively affected by the Corona. As a veteran of the market for 32 years actively trading/investing or some think I am speculating, such panic is nothing new to me.

I walked through 1987 black monday while I was doing my Fall term first year MBA in Cornell with my classmates pager going off ringing the DJIA volatility. One can see the aftermath was horrendous!!

Then it was 1993 with Daim warning the KLSE crashed. Followed by 1997 Asia financial crisis crash. Subsequently LTCM in 1998. One after another comes 2008 Lehman Brother crisis and now 2020 Corona WooHan crisis

It was and still is fun to walk through all this, watching all the fear.

Now we have many people starting to give advice about what to do with the market in such situation when their ears and diapers are still wet. Obviously one should ask how many cycles have these people gone through. How well they weather the storm.

As an old dog in the game, I know when to attack and when to retreat. This is not about all the hot air talk and BS! This is about enjoying watching the drama as it unfolds.

Bible mention there is a cycle for everything. A time to buy, A time to sell, A time to eat pop corn and watch drama.

The difference between an old dog veteran and a amateur puppy is more noise and irrelevant noises from the amateur

How long will this drama last? When will market turn around? For me to know and for you to find out
