The mystical market to some is a dangerous monster. A pet to some. Or sometime both a pet and monster. What is this market actually all about? Sometime you think you comprehend and sometime it is beyond comprehension.
Actually this creature market has its mind of its own. But due to the nature we are taught, our mind in a learning process learns what WE THINK things should behave if certain information become public knowledge. This is what we call the LINEAR mindset. Sometime a negative information results in negative down trend (LINEAR effect). Than there is ANOTHER OPPOSITE effect contradicting. A negative information results in a positive up trend (NON LINEAR effect).
The truth is market exist in both states irrespective what we feel or what we think. So you can say market is INDEPENDENT of us!!! The challenge remains if we are independent of market or we are dependent of market.
The biggest challenge to all and for all traders or investors is our ability to ignore all the news and having developed or formed opinion(s) WHAT and HOW market should behave with the information available from news or research houses or fund managers.
Market loves NEWS and OPINIONS. People Loves these. Well market is always and will always tread it own direction.
Humans are and will always want to be part of crowd behavior. Be a member of the crowd. Too afraid to think and explore beyond the norm. Too afraid to think independently. Too afraid to stand alone. Sometime this is the best way to discover yourself. The majority is never right all the time and never wrong all the time. The trick is know when to be part of the crowd that reigns and when to leave before the show is over moving on to opposite positions.
When market behaves as per our perception or opinions about the market, than we say market is a PET. When it goes against our views it become a MONSTER.
The day we ignore the NEWS and become OPINION-LESS, that market become our harmless friend.
Market is not bothered if our news or information or opinion is the truth or otherwise. Market will move with or without our views or opinions.
