why most big names got hit ......

Old hands have done all sorts of business management, started and sold companies, bought into companies as management investor ... working in the field as a cadet planter, assistant manager, FMCG brand marketing managment, products R&D, pesticides laboratory research and field trials with the best Ivy Uni in Agriculture Dept .... the  list goes on.

The different roles and exposure over the last 35 years from Malaysia to USA to Japan back to USA than Asia Pacific allows me to build and widen my wisdom.

One of the things that remain the weakest link in all business where human is involve be it big names or funds or companies is the ability to anticipate and hedge risks. Well this only show all this big names are FALLIBLE like any other people on the street. It is the media that over hype this people.        

REITs were touted as safe investments. Well what and how one define SAFE. Is losing 30-40%  or 50% of the REITs value considered safe???

What do you call milionaire or billonaire that lost money during this period? Well some of them and many of them are much older than me. As the old Chines saying goes .. I EAT MORE SALT THAN YOU EAT RICE. ... mebe I eat more humble pies than they eat SALT....... LOL.

I can assure you no matter who they are, or as old as they are ,,,, as famous as they are ... most of them have not a plan ....WHAT IF ... THIS SHIT ... HITS THE WALL ... they smell the shit ... that it hits the fan.

Almost everyone was enjoying the good times of easy money. Well one invisible virus did the trick and the whole world goes upside down.

A TRUE REAL BUSINESS PERSON UNDERSTAND THE WORLD CYCLE. WHAT IT MEANS and HOW TO MOVE IN A CYCLE. WHEN TO ATTACK and WHEN TO RETREAT and WHEN TO SIT TIGHT and DO NOTHING.

Unfortunately we don't see many around.

If you dare to claim, you are this n that with this n that.... a long list of accolades, but you tell me your wealth also diminished during ths downturn... well you are no better than the man on the street and stop all this claims and desire to get attentions. This people should be ashamed of themselves.
