Developing system

System development is NOT difficult. One need to write the objective and draw the map path of the system. Back test the system across different products and different time frames.

How does this system fits into your investing/trading time horizon? Can the default parameters with the charting software fit into your strategy? Do you need to tweak the parameters? How many different indicators do you need? Or do you need only 1 or 2  or 3 indicators? Can they be the same of different parameters? or these indicators has to be of different types?

What works for me might or maybe not work on others. It is better for one to develop a system that fits the character of the developer and the time horizon.

I did NOT develop a system that fits into short term trading/investing BUT I develop a basic simple system that help me to accurately track the major trend reversal turning point FIRST on the higher time frames. I will back test it against multiple products, stocks, commodities, indices and currencies. The should be reliable across all different instruments. IF this system works on LOWER time frames that is IDEAL and BONUS.

There are many factors and variables to consider when developing the system. The ultimate objective is to a reliable and accurate system that fit YOU .
